Will users be able to make new scenario's in AATF - (will it ship with a scenario editor?).

Can we *edit* the existing units within the game?

Can we *add* new units to the game?

Can we *adjust* the ratings given to specific units within the game?

If this is the case (so much modding capability.....along with a scenario editor to be shipped with the game)....this is fantastic!

It's been one of the strengths of the series since its debut.

Have to admit I never purchased ATF - But I definitely plan to purchase AATF when it comes out in Dec - (and the limited edition DEMO will be out at the end of Sept, correct?).

However I thought I remember when ATF did come out it didn't have an editor with it. Was one released after the fact via download?

I'm definitely excited about AATF - Looks like a fantastic game and one that is completely lacking in the marketplace. The new interface (of C&C) sounds very promising as well.

The full version of ATF had an editor.

The whole suite of games based on the ATF engine, i.e. Raging Tiger, The Falklands War 1982 and The Star and The Crescent, come with an editor as standard.

There was a scenario editor in the initial late 2002 release, but the Power Toolkit wasn't released until ATF 1.02 in mid-2003. Before then you couldn't mod the database or maps.

If you are REALLY industrious, you can even mod the interface, including RECONFIGURING every window and panel in the game, changing any graphic, the background, default colors, adding or subtracting buttons from toolbars, or anything else.

With the exception of adding new features, you can do anything I can do with the interface :)
