This game sounds very interesting.

Can I order the complete game on CD? I am stuck in a hotel for at least another month with very slow internet connection. Downloading is simply impossible.

Welcome to the SZO Distant Guns forum. I hope you get a lot out of the community here and I also hope you do get DG eventually, it's a great game.

At present it is D/L only I'm sorry to say. I don't believe SES even have plans to ship CDs although Jim Rose is the man to answer that, he and Norm Koger are on these forums regularly.

I'm afraid you're incorrect, ST.

Jagger, you can in fact buy the entire game on a CD from the Storm Eagle Studios store http://www.stormeaglestudios.com/public/html/se_store.html. It's item #6104 down at the very bottom on the page. It's $7.95 US.

This CD starts out like the demo with the Ulsan tactical scenario only. However, it does contain the full game, campaign and all, which you can activate by paying the regular price at some point in the future.

Nope not stupid, I like to collect the boxes also. With the new way of buying online it is going ot take a bite out of collecting boxes that is for sure.

I am not sure, but I do not think so, as it is a download game. There is a CD version that they will send but I do not know if it is in a box. One of there crew will have to let us know about that.

I would like to have desktop pic of the box cover that they do show at there site, that is for sure.

Me too...it would be a shame if an actual box did not exist, as I agree with you about the art. Too attractive to not be used for anything besides a thumbnail.
