Designers can choose from various briefing formats or create their own. The most commonly used format is the standard one that is shown in the WinSP manuals and the first one listed here.
The NATO version is actually very similar to the former Warsaw Pact used. Prior service military personal may prefer seeing their briefings in this type format since it is very easily understood by them.
For the most part, the standard format will be the way to go.
NOTES: (insert your text where the [] are, being sure to remove the []). You will need to leave the * and the _ in place so that the briefing text is formatted properly in the WinSP Game displays. The RED text is used for explaination purposes only and should NOT be included in the actual text file when finished.
