Urban Nightmare

Opponent wanted: You pick the side and I will setup. While I will accept any challenge, I would prefer to play more experienced and skilled players.

Background--the Germans have just lost a large town in Italy. The next day, under cover of a thunderstorm, they mass to take it back. The Allies, seeing that the rain will ground their air forces, are digging in and bracing for the counterattack.

Here are the params:

1) CMAK, 1000 point Axis Attack.

2) December 1943, Italy.

3) Combined Arms with otherwise unrestricted purchase.

4) Large map, standard rarity.

5) Time is dawn, temperature is cool.

6) Weather is rain with a breeze.

7) Game length is 38 turns with a variable ending.

8) Terrain is Large Town, moderate trees, small hills, and medium damage.

9) Extreme fog of war.

Special rules:

1) No preplanned or turn 1 artillery bombardments for the defender.

2) No mixing nationalities--we are all American, all German, all Italian, all British, etc..

Just wondering what is your definition of experienced and skilled players?

I offered you a game back when Bro excepted your offer to a game and said ... don't quote me .... when your done with him let me have a go. Now I am sure that a person with your abilities as a top of the heep player could handle one or more games at a time .:rolleyes:

When I posted this (Urban, Rain QB) you were online. You looked at the thread (I saw you) and did not respond, so I assumed you were not interested in this QB.

My understanding was that you were in line for the BRO NIGHT QB. If you like, we can start that game. Do you want to attack or defend?

Bro and I have been ....or should I say Bro has got me into these A/D games and I must say there is alot of tension in the games. { gets the a blood flowing] I did not expect this. Just goes to show you judge not till you step in. I will defend. I guess I need to get some night games in sooner or later.:surprise: :smoke:

Hey Jay.......interested if you still am........and you've already had an offer of allied defending, i'll offer to be the axis attacking...........as for "more experienced & skilled players", well, i think i might be able to give you a go........i think i just may be currently giving wayne (the number guy) & ed (iron mike) a good run - ask 'em
