Short question:

When Russia is winning, will the landforces advance and f.e. eventually capture bases from the Japanes like they are trying with Port Arthur? Or are they only in the defense, trying to hold Port Arthur?

I`m only 28 days into the campaign.

I'm pretty sure that when Russia is winning the land war that means the Japanese are not advancing. I don't think the Russians go on the offensive in the land war.
