So here's how it goes for turn 3:
profitting from my previous engagement against dkatz(who had gone missing since then),i launched my advance towards securing Pegasus bridge through breaking the attacks into rounds. Right now i had finally secured the location and chances of my opponent taking it is scant. Thanks to the ferry-bridge engineer units i am able to send penetrate to the eastern end,in order to neutralize the coastal arty units and to flank the opponents from there.;)
Reinforcements poured in steadily, which i utilized to push the enemy units in eastern part of the threatre north, south and east. It seems for now that the advance towards Cherbourg seems to go well, and the capture of Carenten would possibly be realized, provided i send some more troops to commit to the attack.
Also worthy of mention is that the engagements north of North Caen seems to proceed pretty well. The enemy units are rather spread out and cutting them as isolation seems to be like a hot knife cutting through butter. Considering that there are many victory points concentrated there it would be justified to prioritize into seizing that area.
Other than that,i am still trying to link up the various zones in order to allow operational mobility. End of report for turn 3.:)
