View Full Version : Ships sinking after disengaging into base?
Well, have saved all my Russian ships from the Port Arthur attack. Yet having entered the campaign screen, I did not find moderately damaged "Tsesarevitch." She had really heavy leaks, yet she managed to limp off to the base.
I looked into the game log, and, to my surprise, I have found out that AFTER she "entered the base" and "disengaged", she actually SUNK!
The manual says that "Heavily damaged or sinking ships are considered to have been saved if they manage to enter the base."
Nevertheless, I don't see the "Tsesarevitch" in Port Artur :-( Will she reappear?

Did you send this to SES support? you might send this to them if you have not and let them see the file.
I do not know if this is wrong, as maybe they raise the ship and fix it. :)
But do send it to them so they can see.

:-D That would be very nice of them, if they raised the "Tsesarevitch", and maybe drop a few of Borodino class into Port Arthur :-D
I did not want to bother them with every single trifle. After all, the vessel was heavily damaged. But I shall heed your advice.

Yea, please do as if I read the manual like you did then it should be a floating ship in the port. :)
But I think that they should see this as it may be a issue that needs looking at. And it might not, but at least they can take a quick look and see.

Depending upon the distribution of the damage, a "moderately" damaged ship can be in very bad shape. A small section was added to the damage control code as the last change in build 1.013, and it should make sure that, no matter how damaged, ships making base will be saved.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
