I have just joined an in progress multiplayer Gettysburg battle as Gen Ewell, filling in for another player that dropped out. While the previous player left his Corps in pretty good order, I am having problems locating a couple of units (particularly the supply wagons which did not make it up to the front along with the infantry). Is there any way that I can make the “Next Stack” command button cycle through only Ewell’s II Corps? This would also assist in making sure I moved/fired all the units under my command during my turn.

Thanks for any help

PS. For what it is worth, I recently discovered (and so some of you may not be aware) that if you click on the “Move/Fire Mode” (button that looks like the cross hairs of a scope on the far left side of the toolbar) so as to engage it on fire, then hit the “Next Stack” button, it will cycle through any units that have not yet fired during your turn. Thus you can cause any units that you want to fire in your turn; and to verify that you have not inadvertently forgot to cause an eligible unit to fire, go through the procedure above. Very helpful.

Gary,
I doubt if you can only cycle through the units of one organization,. but you can click on Ewell and hit the 'Highlight Organization' button (far right of bar next to the '?' button) to highlight all of Ewell's units--including the wagons. Hope this helps.

Mike is correct, no way to cycle through just one Corps...only the full army of the side.

Thanks guys, kinda thought that was the answer, but wanted to check with those that know more than me. Wish list for future releases and/or upgrades - some type of ability to assign specfic commands to people in multiplayer PBEM games. That way you would not inadvertently move the wrong unit and you could cycle through just those units under you. I think you have something like this in network games, although I have never played on of those. Just a thought.

While not as easy to fit in, this feature already is in the on-line game format...so you can have 2, 3 or more commanders per side, with their own units assigned, and everyone can move at the same time and only the units that are assigned to them. Very cool.

I understood from the manual that in an online game, you could assign units and thus could only move those under your control. Didn't realize that they could be moved at the same time. Now that is cool! As much as I have enjoyed advancing from playing against the AI to PBEM games over the past year or so, I find I enjoy multiplayer PBEM games even more. I would think online would be even better. Problem would be being able to get 4 or more people online at the same time - but I sure would like to try it one day.
