Updated Demo ?

Can users who already used up the 30 trys on the first, use the updated demo?

Does the demo update to latest build just like the full version?

Anyone using the 30 Day Trial Version will auto-update to the latest build.
It does not matter which version they have. An older version might take two or three updates to catch up, but they will be brought up to speed.

My question is for users who used up the original 30 trys demo, unstalled it, can they download and install the new demo and get another 30 trys?

Pad152:

Once you install the 30 Day trial and use up the 30 Plays, reinstalling it will not give you 30 More plays..

Sorry...

Your 30 Day trail is a bit of a joke, it's not 30 days it's 30 game starts. Just changing the video settings uses up 1 Day/1 start, several of you updates used up 1 Day/1 start, I'm shure I not the only one who used up 14-16 Days/starts just playing with video settings and updates.

Ok, you just keep you demo :cheeky:

No, I expect working demo's to be free. I just don't pay $60.00 to become a beta tester!!

pad152, please do think seriously about buying the game. As you can see from the many threads by happy customers on this forum, it is simply fantastic and possibly the finest PC naval game ever made. I think just about all bugs have been squashed now by Norm and us reporting them so you're not a beta tester if you buy it now. Also there are BIG plans to develop this game in future expansions (WWI, WW2) so you'd be mad not to invest in it's future.

Well Saddletank, I was going to give the newly released DG demo a second chance, but have been told by Jim Rose, tuff luck you already used up your 30 tries. Even though a lot of my 30 tries with the first demo were wasted with configure issues and problems, so it looks like I won’t be trying DG again. I’m a little more then put off with Storm Eagles 30 tries before you die, even if game didn’t work for most of those tries and Jim Rose's comments about wanting the game for free. It's funny because it looks like this will be the first Norm Koger game I have not purchased, going back all to the days of the Apple II, I even own that space game he made for SSI.
