CM Topo maps

Has anyone found a way to download the elevations of each 20m x 20m grid from a CM map? There must be a way. This info could then be converted into a topo map using a number of contouring software programs. It can be done manually of course but it's pretty tedious. You can spend a lot of time studying the maps, especially large maps, but avenues of approach are much more readily evident with a topo.

With Mapping Mission. The more useful thing is that you can convert actual topo-maps into CM with it.

Actually, no body has a utility to produce topo's from a CM map, that I could find. I don't believe Mapping Mission does this either. Battlefront claims it would require getting into their code to do so and would be a violation of their copyright.

Too bad.
