Here's my report of 2nd btw davidr and me.
So far Port-En-Bessin is under allies control, thus securing the logistic line amongst the fragmented formation. Carentan seems to be at hand, though more reinforcement needs to be poured in to secure the region. Central part seems to make little progress, perhaps due to the hedgerows that provide cover for the opponent. The bridging engineer unit in the eastern area comes in nifty, allowing me to link up the units severed by the super-river.
Still, the Pegasus bridge is a contested hotspot, and its fall to the axis seems imminent. Despite that i had the sole defending unit dug in,ignoring losses and holding on to it 'til reinforcements from the west for their timely arrival.
Your situation looks pretty good, except as you mention the area around Pegasus Bridge and that virtually nothing is dug in - including your artillery of which a lot of it is on the front lines, along with several of your headquarters.
It really depends upon how aggressively your opponent is going to play, but again - anytime there is an overstacked group, not dug in - with a red light, it is likely to get hit pretty hard, as a matter of priority. Seven battalions in one hex with none dug in - adjacent to mechanized forces - is not a good situation.
You've done well most everywhere else - a good job at Carentan thus far, and a good move applying some armor there, but again, artillery on the front lines, not dug in means everything not stacked with your armor is subject to being hit.
Main thing is that in threatened areas, you always want one unit dug in; artillery behind the front lines within supporting range of as many units as possible; headquarters behind the front lines and adjacent to as many units as possible - dug in.
You are keeping your units organized fairly well (by color/support levels) - watch the British though - they might be the same color in a lot of cases they still have internal support. You also did well in pulling back your navy from the Sword/Juno beaches at the end of the turn - but as you eliminate his fort units you can probably keep them closer to the beach - a good aid against any of his attacks.
I think I'm probably late in responding - but you are doing fine, continue doing what you've been doing, with consideration to these notes.
Good Job!

Also, naval units in ports - that is stretching things. They need to be at sea, honour rules.

Is it ahistorical? Sorry i am not really historically particular when it comes to wargames, so I guess i could set the naval units at rest so that they wont fire when being docked for replenishment.

Liuzg, I just read the briefing (hey that is a nice briefing by the way, very detailed and personal) and I could find no house rule about how to use and not use the ships. My mistake, apologies.
I find it questionable from an historical point of view to put the battleships on the shore and in sea-resorts to gain an extra hex in range. In real ports/harbours maybe ok. Anyway munitions replenishment was surely done back in England? But hey I am nitpicking. Game on! :)

Crush the opposition! I recently got TOAW3 and I am doing a German side vs Elmer the evil computer AI - he is not bad at all! And he is stacking his battleship high in the Norman holiday resort beach towns. ;) I'll need to discuss history with Elmer...
