Kills me to point it out, but if you see look at some earlier threads there're suggestions that the conversion from TOAW CoW to TOAW III hasn't gone perfectly and there may be some bugs that have crept in.
Up to you, but it would be a pity to invest time and effort into the game and find out that there is some fatal flaw half way through.
Hi Mark
Is there a better wayto find a bug........ so we play and help you. I have noticed a couple things when playing a computer opp.
1 the text dc's produced show event errors....this may help you
2. if you dont attack Yugo it will attack you LOL
3. the Soviots use thier air agiants the Germans before was is declared ...might be because they show as allied from start
4. Allied air attacks netural Italy also

Thanks for the head up Mark. No worries. We'll let you know if we find any bugs.
Hello Gentlemen,
I've got to warn you. The Problems that I have seen to date (All playing hotseat): The whole German Army withdraws (Except the Bonus Pre-War units. Happened around turn 56. Have not been able to recreate, maybe different Theater Options affect it?), After extending the Maginot Line eventually the Allies (Fr & UK) can declare war on Axis. This was done, but the French Army never mobisiled? Even after Italy enters the war and the Axis is on French territory (French units have been attacked)? Also Italy enters the War before Axis within 2 hexes of Paris and Yugo & Greece don't mobilise (Message is in the news ticker)? I've also seen issues with the Polish Army not withdrawing?
These are just examples. I would read other threads here before you start. It could be very painful to invest weeks of time and Strategy to have your whole army in the middle of Russia withdraw. :upset:
Just my 2 cents worth... :smoke:
someone needs to invest the time to make the game better. This way we all can enjoy it.
:salute: :salute: :salute: :salute:

I can feel despair setting in: don't throw away your TOAW CoW disks just yet...
The whole German Army withdraws I knew I should have played the Allied side :freak:
Hi LOK

Beware all theater options that dont declare war or start a known operation:D

If you have decided to give this scenario a go, please do let me know of anything that doesn't seem to work as it should, e.g. formations not mobilising, withdrawing for no apparent reason, Theatre Options not
(dis)appearing or triggering, etc., although I'd imagine that after a few of those you'll give up in horror.
Cheers
hey I've been married 3 times I know and understand real horror
