Just to follow up on Kerry's concerns.....

SZO is my favorite gaming site (I also play on BoB). Here is why:

1) SZO is FAR more open and tolerant than other places. This is a good thing. For example, while Spike is controversial, he has brought tons of good knowledge to the forums. Any talk of banning him is ridiculous and premature. Some controversy and debate is GOOD. Just draw a hard line at unsubstantiated personal attacks.

2) The SZO board is very active with great content. BoB seems to be on "summer shutdown."

3) The SZO interface is the best I have seen (excepting for the ladder crashes) and the website has TONS of cool functionality.

4) The SZO scoring ranking system is good.

5) With a few exceptions, there are good people on SZO.

Check out traffic on other sites. People vote with their feet. If SZO sucked, we would not have as many posts/games here as we do.

Kerry--this is like your average marriage. We probably don't say we love it here enough, but we do! Why else would we come? You will get 10 complaints for every compliment. That is normal.

I toured loads of CM sites before I settled on this one and have found ALL the participants to be Thoroughly Good Fellows as we say in the UK.
I wouldn't want to be anywhere else, well maybe in the pub surrounded by sexy young women, but till then this bunch of hairy nerds will have to do:laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

This is a great entertainment site. My only ladder, although I've lurked around others, it's been a lot of fun. Good discussions and a varied set of personalities. Who could ask for more?:cool:
