Well, I wasn't fast enough on turn 1 and couldn't reach Carentan, I was just behind the river. Naturally my opponent blew all bridges, and now I can't get through this "super" river (IRL it's not that big, but well...).
How are the Allies suppposed to pass ? I can't find any US unit with Major bridging capacity, are we stuck in the Bocage for all the game :freak: ? If yes it's just lame, but I'm sure I missed something... :(

use engineer units to cross the rivers, repair the bridges with the engineers then bring in fighting troops (infantry, armor) and take Carentan. I usually keep my artillery in the village St Come du Mont north of Carentan. I advise you to bring your battleships in the Corner as near as possible of Carentan. Take the naval units with a range of 13 and use indirect/direct fire support, combined with the power of your bombers Carentan should fall :smoke:
