It appears that you may have to update the AMD XP & AMD 64 Processor drivers as well. This should be done as a general rule anyway....

Hi, this doesn't mention WIN XP. Is it for XP also? I'm aware that XP is based on WIN2000. I'm not THAT computer savvy, so could somebody help me out here. Cheers.

Which AMD processor have you got? Go to Control Panel and double click on the System icon. It will tell you which processor you have on the General tab under Computer:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual core 4800+

I applied both downloads for my Athlon 64 3700+. Didn't seem to do much, maybe an increase of 1-2 FPS.

Still I'll keep them applied to see if they improve my overall PC performance.

I haven't suffered any crashes or black screens at all. In fact, the only bug I've seen is disappearing forces before 1.004.

Well, I've got the latest DG patch, and applied all the latest drivers from AMD and Windows. Still getting campaign crashes - aka black screen of death. FYI - I've also updated my sound and video card drivers.

This truly hurts, as I was able to get enough of a taste of the campagin game to really get my appetite up!
