Help! My hard drive went :mad: and now I'm trying to reinstall DG. Sent all my info to support@stormeaglestudios.com but when I'm trying to activate online the game asks for more keys.:(
Would like to get back to DG ASAP!
Looks like I should install DG on a removable or external storage media.;)
Digital Download 101 - always make a backup copy of your download, with serial numbers, keys, etc. on CD-Rom, DVD.
Murphy's Law - your hard drive will only crash if your didn't back it up! :eek:
The current copy protection scheme only allows one copy of the game to run on a given hard drive. If you you use the transfer utility to move it to a different drive it removes it from the previous drive.
It seems the only way to back it up is to create a backup image of the whole drive.
The major flaw in this system is when your hard drive goes south unexpectedly. Then it boils down to a reinstall and reactivation from Storm Eagle's servers.
Still waiting for a response from Storm Eagle BTW.
