I've done a rough update on the War in the West (http://www.west-point.org/users/usma1987/44419/toaw-1.htm) page. With the help of Mantis and the other players, I'll try to keep the player list correct. In the next couple days, I'll make it "prettier" too!

As play gets started, my hope is to receive an update from the German player at the end of turn 5, 10, 15, 20, and game end. If we can do that, maybe we can keep the games moving along so the deadline for finishing can stay relatively firm and we can identify games that are slipping behind "schedule."

Thanks West for all your help in this tournament. I know Mantis appreciates your efforts as it frees him up to focus on the nuts and bolts issues of running a tournament. Not an easy task I assure you!

You know it, buddy! I'll keep you as up to date as possible! There's one change already - Xanadamere is listed as (Withdrawn), and the #lineups have changed, as I've not assigned a sub.

LaPalice ... I received your turn. The baby is settling in and I hope to return to playing by Monday or so. Thanks for the patience of my opponents out there.

bump ....

I've added the following to the page:

Please keep us up to date on your progress through the tourney!
At the end of every fifth German turn, please report:

1. The turn you are on
2. The German VP points - German losses + Allied losses

to brent_layman@yahoo.com

Make sense? Is that how we've agreed to score round 2?

Maybe you can reduce the widths of the Turn 5 and Turn 10 columns so the Turn 15 column shows up better. This way everyone will know how good Laszlo is doing. :D
