Game crash - please help

Hi,
I have full version of game.
My configuration:
Pentium (1.7GHz)
256MB NVidia GeForce
1024 MB RAM
I'm playting campaign game as Russian and game crashed (allways) propably during some "new event" 11th February morning by following error message:
unknown software exception (0x80000003) ... on the place 0x7c901230
Crash is independent on graphical options etc.
Check my save, game will cresh after some seconds (time multiply 100x)

It look like you had the same problem that I had. The problem occurs when units in Port Arther start doing things with a Japanese screening force in place (I think this is a requirement for the crash).

There is nothing that can be done about this now, but I sent a couple save files to Norm earlier, so hopefully it will be fixed very soon.

Unfortunately I've got the same crash (black screen, hung sound) playing as the Russians - was looking forward to playing as raiders too! I didn't note when (game date,time) it happened, but sounds the same.

The campaign bug is the first item on my agenda for Monday. Thanks to the folks who have sent in saved game files.

I'd have posted this earlier, except that I had to spend three hours manually fixing a corrupt installation of Norton Antivirus on my primary development system before I could make the rounds here today. Nuisance. Still don't know why it went south...

Well, I've only tried the demo so far but I'm getting the same exact error. I've also had errors listed as "condition 4" and "condition 12"?

As much as I like the game I still haven't actually been able to complete a single session without one of these problems. I think I've run 9 or 10 sessions in which all have ended in one of these errors. Though instead of "unknown software error" it usually says "breakpoint error"?

Yes, there most certainly is a problem. At least for my system.

In the 30 day free trial, limited to the battle of Ulsan, I'm constantly getting the errors\crashes I mentioned previously. The same ones others, with the full version, in whatever mode they're playing ( Campaign or battle) are experiencing.

You may not be having these issues, but I assure you I am.

I'm not posting this to moan or whine about the game. I'd love to see this game do well! But a buggy trial version may steer potential customers away for a while.

During each game (from the start of game to the end) is generated log in the main game directory ... so check, what is last action before crash ...

Btw. this log is really great ... number of hits during battle, damage, number of killed sailors etc. A pity, that it is not possible view this informations in the game directly ...

At the end of the battle, general damage level was light.

I would expect ship will sink after such pounding.
