View Full Version : NVIDA Video Cards
OK I have a 128 Mb Geforce card. I just downloaded the latest drivers for it and install them to XP pro. All my programs/Sims work fine. However when I load up DGs I get like a 640x screen and can only see half the super magnified screen. I can't access any of the options should I just uninstall and reload. The only way out is to Crtl Alt Del? :surprise:

As a last resort, there is a file in the game directory that maintains your settings. If this file has become confused because of a driver switch, or whatever, try deleting it. The next time you launch the game, it will launch with default settings. There is a way to do this within the game too, but for now I am curious about what happens if you do it the old fashioned way.
The file to delete is: dg.cfg
Make sure the game is not running. Delete dg.cfg. Relaunch. Let me know what happens.
I just tested the process, well I actually moved the file off to another location and started the game up, and it did create a new dg.cfg . So that seems to work. I don't know if it will solve etf's problems though as the game works fine for me.
