Hi. First post here!

Just played a computer generated scenario using 1 Japanese armoured cruiser (me) vs 5 Russian Torpedo boats - just to get the feel of things. Everything regarding control etc. is falling into place nicely, but I encountered a weird graphic effect after, I believe, the Russians launched a torpedo attack. My armoured cruiser was suddenly surrounded by a large white square with just the stacks and masts visible! The game continued fine (except I couldn't really see much of my ship!).

I have a Radeon 9800 graphics card, Direct X 9c, all effects on full, and everything runs really smooth - just this weird glitch. Any suggestions?

Cheers
Ken

Heh, I've seen the same thing a few times. It appears that my men wanted better living conditions and built a complete house on the deck. The few times I've seen it have been after an alt-tab and/or some really high time compression (400x).

Additionally I've lost the orange circle around the selected ship or division, and the course change lines have gone haywire. Exiting the game and reloading the save clears everything up, so it isn't too bad of a fix for now.

Joe?

JOE!

Agh! I'm having a flashback! Someone get me out of this Cesspool™

So you're thinking of getting your feet wet also? There's no foxholes in the water you know, and tanks don't float. ;)

HarvHah! I was driving the Mikasa in front of the Tsesarevitch's bow when you were ... uh ... oh wait you're about my age aren't you.

Well anyway I was.

Mind you I was using miniatures at the time but it was Russo-Japanese naval combat.
