Taking screenshots

Is there a key for taking screenshots? I don't see one listed in the manual.

Not at the moment. There used to be one, and I may enable it again if enough players ask. I use external capture utilities because I find them convenient.

One can take screenshots at anytime in windows. Simply press the 'PrtScn' key (should be near the upper-right of the keyboard). Then alt-tab to desktop, create a blank .bmp file, begin to edit the file, and then click 'paste', to past the screenshot into the file. To host on the internet, you can use this site: http://www.imageshack.us/

The problem with that is the clipboard only holds 1 pic at a time, so you have to tab out of the game to deal with it. Would much rather hit a key and keep on going. I don't want to miss my ships blowing up. :) Right now I am trying out hypersnap.

Grab FRAPS from www.fraps.com. It is a great little utility for capturing multiple screenshots to a designated file by assigning a key of your choice. The free version is fine, but you get more by paying the very small shareware cost. Another utility like FRAPS is Irfanview - google the name for the Irfanview webpage. I have used both and they are excellent.

Thats the one I was thinking of. I had the name frappr stuck in my head though. :/
