Why is this House rule necessary? Did the Allies use their heavy bombers at the beginning of the campaign? I am sorry if it is a stupid question but that is because with TOAW III I am stupid:crosseye:
I think it is because during the war the Allies mainly used the bombers to attack specific targets...

There are no stupid questions - just stupid answers. They only used them once in direct bombarding of a ground unit, the unfortunate Panzer Lehr Division. In operation Cobra. I could be wrong however.

It's a scenario designer house rule and I think the rationale is mentioned in the scenario briefing.
