1) .... I have been wargaming for years now, PBEM for over five and against the "AI" long before that, but it's been a long time since I've been so excited and nervous about a game even when I am not playing it. Hell, I've recently found myself reflecting about my Normandy move in the middle of the night. :surprise:
2) .... This workshop here is simply great. The quality, depth and extent of the advice newbies get here is nearly unbelievable. That goes particularly for General Staff. Sir, it seems you are monitoring this board, analyzing our turns and answering our questions nearly day and night. How do you do it? Anyway, your efforts and your patience are much appreciated. :)

... the General must be one hell of a typer ... shoot, I can type 60 to 80 words per minute but gosh he's typed up dozens and dozens of long replies. I'd be wore out with all that typing.
Thanks so much for all your patience (that goes for General and Veers both)

Thanks. Mostly weekends and lunch hours. Particularly this weekend. A lot of folks helped me out when I was starting so I'm just kind of returning the favor. Hopefully in due course you'll do the same.
Glad you're enjoying it all. And it's great to see new players getting involved.

They love me! :broccoli:
Patience is what shall achieve victory for our team. :vsign:
Also, it looks like my game has just arrived. You will all now get to disect my mistakes. :)
