And the following figures are for Veterans only,(summer mid-day in command)
This isn't a vitally-important chart, I compiled it mostly for interests sake using a representative cross-section of tanks/ SPG's/ guns.
I issued area fire orders into empty ground 150 metres to their front and logged the ammo depletion rates over several turns of continual firing.
The standard rates below often randomly varied slightly each turn.
The Sturmtiger sometimes spent an entire turn reloading without firing.

GERMAN AFV's
Pz IIF (20mm L/55) = 13 bursts per minute
Pz IIIF (37mm L/47) = 12 shells per minute
Pz IIIH (50mm L/42) = 10
Pz IIIJ (50mm L/60) = 10
Marder (75mm L/46) = 8
Pz IVE (75mm L/24) = 8
Pz IVG (75mm L/43) = 8
Pz IVG late (75mm L/48) = 8
Panther (75mm L/70) = 7
Tiger (88mm L/56) = 6
Kingtiger (88mm L/71) = 6
Brumbar (150mm L/12) = 3
Jagdtiger (128mm L/55) = 3
Sturmtiger (380mm L/5) = 1

GERMAN GUNS
37mmPak36 ATG = 12 shells per minute
50mmPak38 ATG = 11
75mmPak40 ATG = 9
88mmFlak = 7
88 Pak 43 = 7
88 Pak 43/41 = 7
Panzerschreck = all 5 shots gone in 45secs
Flamethrowers = all 9 squirts gone in 52 secs

RUSSIAN AFV's
T-60 (20mm L/82) = 10 bursts per minute
T-26 (45mm L/46) = 7 shells per minute
SU-76 (76.2mm L/42) = 8
T-34/76 (76.2mm L/42) = 6
T-34/85 (85mm L/55) = 6
IS-2 (122mm L/48) = 3
ISU-122 (122mm L/48) = 3
KV-2 (152 L/20) = 2
ISU-152 (152 L/29) = 2

RUSSIAN GUNS
37mm ATG = 13 shells per minute
45mm ATG = 11
76.2mm M36 F22 = 9
76.2mm M1939 F-22 USV = 9
76.2mm M1942 Zis-3 = 8

Another excellent post, POS. This is a very important, but often overlooked, aspect to the game.

One small thing......your analysis can be off by plus or minus one shot per turn.

For example, the Panther is closer to 8 shots per turn (it needs one more second to get its 8th shot off) while the Tiger barely makes 6 shots (it just gets its sixth shot in before the turn ends).

8 to 6....does this matter much? Yes--the Panther fires 33% faster and is a much better tank killer than a Tiger (not to mention the Panther's better penetrating gun and sloped armor).

As a result, when I look at this, I measure it as--"A Tiger fires a shell every X seconds, a Panther fires a shell every Y seconds." You can even go to half seconds if you are really anal :devious:
