Only 30+ turns for 11000 points? I am always in favor of longer turns in scenarios. Curious why only 30. Otherwise I am very tempted to try it :)

30+ turns is because the Soviet commander doesn't want to lose his head if the road to Berlin isn't opened fast.

Besides if he can't complete his mission on a medium map with 11,000 points in 30 vs questionable opposition he must not be a very good commander.

LOL. I see. You ever have "recollections" or fragmented dreams of serving as a commisar?

This scenario is a "grinder," the Soviet Commander is told to clear the area fast no matter the losses so a game "time" constraint is forced to make him attack & do so quickly. Just read the briefing-ok! :)

11,000 pts on a medium map - wow, that sounds crowded! A lot like a pub I use to frequent. :toast:
