HL 1 - Day of Defeat

Hi guys,

do you know where I can get the old day of defeat mod for half life 1??? I only find dod source or the possibility to get it over steam.

Now steam, I swore I will touch again only with a loaded gun pressed to my head and even then it will take me some time to decide.

I played dod quite a lot a few years back and enjoyed it immensely... so I would appreciate any help you could give me.

I'm only looking to play it in a private two-pc network with bots and a friend, so I dont even need the newest version. Any version would be cool, it doesnt have to work on the internet.

Does maybe someone still have an older download of the mod???

At 145mb, you might want to do a search for Day of Defeat v3.1. I did see it at an European site, but couldn't read it. :)

who knows, maybe I'll give steem another chance. I bought HL2 as it was released and it took me about 9 hours to get it to work... and then it took me 5-10 minutes to start the damn thing everytime I wanted to play it... so, after a few days, I kind of stopped wanting to play it and I havent touched it since :freak:
