Simply very impressive! 73 wins against 23 opponents (http://www.strategyzoneonline.com/forums/ladder_rating_detail.php?ld=8&u=6008). I'll never catch him! Oh ... and the best I've ever done against him is a draw.

I've played some good players, but Alex is the best. His use of cavalry is simply amazing. In this club, I've played 23 games and every one of them has been against Alex. I think I have 12 loses 7 wins and 4 draws, but I think all my wins came as a result of playing games I designed, so perhaps I had a slight advantage. :nuts:

I thought that Union gave up Pennsylvania for ever. I'm already in process of installing new confederate governor in this state. Everywhere people are happy as we bring them Peace and Justice.

But Brent, if you want to interrupt my building of new nation send over a file.
We, noble Confederates, can always build on the bodies of our enemies :laugh:

Not only is Alex a skilled gammer, but a patient and generous one as well. As a freshly minted commander he worked with me to get he ins and outs of game play figured out. We also spontaneously invented a "Parole" rule when his cavalry (he calls them his desperadoes) cut off a division or more. Of course I had to leave the arty and supply wagons and sing Dixie all the way back to Washington to wait exchange!

I would encourage anyone who hasn't played him yet to give it a try as it will really wake you up to the possibilities of this hobby. Besides it is so cool to tell people you’re fighting the Civil War with a guy from Poland.
