Maybe you should find a hobby to fill your spare time.
I have one, 5 boys & a wife!
:sneak:
So, how many hours each week do you devote to CMLand?
Thanks for asking.
Hmmm, well, when I was recently "fast" play-testing the final "versions" of the rd6 scenario (50+ turns) of the Top Players T it was 30+ hrs for a couple of weeks. Not including doing/redoing the briefings, and play-testing 2 other scenarios, and playing 1 game. So about... 5-6+ hours a day. Not counting the time working on other CM ideas... :halo:
Today I took a break :bored: besides looking over the forum I only worked on some ideas for future tourneys. :clown: I'll now take a few days off :flag: before starting up the next rd4 CoG scenario & working on the others.
As far as time designing & play-testing: When I just did that large BB 50+ turn scenario "Terpiak Pass" at 20,000 pts to test it "properly" required over an hour per turn. 50 turns x1 x multipile tests = .... many late hours.
Designing the map & research took hours upon hours before hand. And as I found areas in need of modification if major ones I had to restart the testing. Not to mention having to test it using different defensive setups/attack routes etc.
By the time I finish a large scenario I'm literally sick to death of it!!!
My wife knows me well enough that when she hears me cry out- "Oh man!, son of a bagel!" (I have kids) She usually replies sweetly with, "found a glich did you?"
So I put a good number of hours into this little hobby but as you can see no time to play much. Not being able to sleep helps. :crosseye:
You certainly have an accomodating family! Given 5 boys and a wife you must only be sleeping 4 hours a night at best.:surprise:
Do you work outside the home as well?
I haven't had the chance yet to play one of your tournaments but from all the comments it's obvious you do a fantastic job of it. Thanks for all you do!
An illness with chronic pain & fatigue keeps me mostly sitting at home, and obviously unable to sleep.
Kerry--your pain is our gain. But we all wish that you had far less of it and reduced fatique, as well.

CMBO- Beyond the Elbe (Formulating ideas) What did you have in mind for this one?
I will continue to assist with BoB next round. If there is any other way to help let me know.:smoke:
