View Full Version : Do you want 3 Ladders?
To follow up Lurkers question and make it "clearer:"
Do you want a seperate ladder for each game: BO/BB/AK
1. YES
2. NO
What's the matter Kerry, don't you like muddy waters? You think too much like a scenario designer. :D ;)

I would just like to say I think we will all regret the decision for 3 Ladders
Cmak will by far have the most contestants with the Cmbo ladder being a desolate dust bowl. We only seem to have less than 100 players and i don't think it's enough to make it interesting.
If we do go to 3 then I hope it does work but I spose we will have to wait and see.
Were All Doooomed!!!!!!!

If it stays the way it is, how does one compete against another who only plays CMBO? When one doesnt play that version anymore, let alone even own a copy of it. Or with other versions ect....
Good point. You get to play on the ladder of your choice.
Don't worry Dan, we'll let you play on all three. :p :violin:

Heading for a tie....Thats lovely.... :freak:
Having to chose between three ladders and just one, I voted to keep things the way that they are.

Any particular reason KG_Jag?
What gives with the sudden 'one ladder' surge; are you hacking the poll Kerry? :D
If this keeps up you're stuck with me at the top for a while. At least until the three below me get active. :surprise:

My reasons for wanting two ladders--one for CMBO and one for CMBB/CMAK were set forth here:

Nope never crossed my mind: but probably because the poll was closing so players got off the fence.
I'm surprised the results were as close as they were.
Oh well! :nervous: I'll give it a year and poll again. :halo:

It is strange considering what an improtant question it is.
I thought we'd at least get 10% (30) of the players to vote but only 24 did.
In the age poll 34 players voted.
This thread has almost as many views as the "age poll". It could be that most simply do not have a strong preference on this issue, or that the option they favor was not one that was available on the poll.

Id be willing to bet it was all the people who voted comming back to check on the tally. Same thing happens on polls at our site. :(

Maybe this is what happens is what happens when you give people Democracy, Apathy!
Maybe a few months of Dictatorship would get them out voting:laugh:
You bet, start laying down rules & laws without consulting the members & see what happens! :curse: :freak:
I leave for alittle while and it turns into a dictatorship! :smoke:
I leave for alittle while and it turns into a dictatorship! :smoke:And you only have yourself to blame. You could have prevented this!! :bandit:
It seems to be in most places that the vocal (involved) 10% make all the rules & laws.
Another 20% will complain loudly about the 10% who were involved not doing "it" right, with another 20% grumbling about why they weren't consulted while the last 50% is so "out of it" that they won't even know what the other 50% is talking about.

That is probably the most profoundly true statement i have ever read that can encompass any forum/online community anywhere.
