Hope that someone is able to help my out here.

I am playing the Gettysburg campaign against MGRamseur. We have both updated the game with the new patch. But I cannot get the game to run properly. MGRamseur has no problems running his other games so the problem must be at my end.

It all runs smoothly until I am asked if I want to see his battle replay. After pressing yes I get following screen dump. I have extracted the patch to the default folder.

Double check that you have the patch installed. I was getting the same message when I realized that I hadn't installed the patch and my opponent had. Once I installed it everything worked fine. To check open up the game to play against the computer. Go to Help and then About and it should show you the version. If it doesn't show 1.01 then you didn't get the patch installed right. If it does say 1.01 then I don't know what the problem might be.

Yep, be sure that you both have 1.01 ver.
Also try to press NO while asking about watching replay.

From time to time I've problems with replays too, either the error you have got or even more interesting thing - when I played with player X a single scenario from Corinth, I knew that in the mean time he also played with player Y a campaign game. Belive me, few times after pressing YES for watching replay, I could see replay from their game! A completly different scenario!

But all was okey when I resigned from watching replay.

I had a similar problem. Had not applied 101 patch. When I did this it did played the replay properly.
Then however the next turn received would not play replay (even though 101 patch applied previous turn) but could play the turn fine, has played replays fine for every turn since though.

So...try playing the turn without viewing that one replay and then hopefully you should have no further problems.

Thanks for all your suggestions. I finally got it to work. I downloaded the patch to my desktop and used the unzip function do extract to my default Gettysburg folder and that did not work. Instead I manually extracted it to my desktop and from there I copied it into my folder. worked like a treat.

Thanks again.
