Time to stop lurking (Jamiam :p) and jump back in... Great job to all who worked hard to make this happen, we will never really understand how hard you guys worked to make this dream a reality... looks great. I know there is some debate about the cost but for me the TOAW series was always the best, well worth the cost, now on to some battles. Something middle of the road as far as size, time period whatever....

Thanks for the welcome back Jam, as you know...never really left just went into lurker mode, kinda was disappointed that the system was being left to drift and die but the TOAW community is a tough bunch and kept it alive and now we are rewarded. Great job to you and all those responsible for the lifeline :drink: Come back to Vegas I got you! Still looking for an opponent... Jam you need one for the post you had on Matrix?

Sure am. Are you interested in any of those games and conditions I stated? Just don't ask me to be gentle...:devious:

I had someone else email me, but he wanted to play the Allies in Overlord '44. I don't have the time to take on a 200 turn game, and so I countered with Two Weeks in Normandy, which he agreed to. If you wanted to play something other than what I specified over at Matrix, drop me a line and we'll hash out something. Just not too big, or too long. Small to medium is good.

I'll take my medicine :surprise: Hey anything that works for your time constraints. You know the scenarios better than me so pick a good one and put me on the D

How about Kharkov 42, in the Classic TOAW folder? I'll play the Soviets, which will put you on the "D" for at least the first few turns, and give you a chance to retake the initiative if you play your cards right, or I stumble.

TOAW III does help out low mobility scenarios a bit, so the Soviet Juggernaut will be a bit more nimble than in CoW, so be forewarned.

I'll get you the turn tomorrow.

In CoW, if you attacked with an unmoved unit that had less than 10 MP's at the start of its turn, your attack wouldn't begin until after round 1. This would get progressively worse until with an unmoved unit with 0 MP's your attack wouldn't begin until the end of the turn, and your whole turn would be blown. Now, that's not a problem anymore. You still have to watch remaining MP rounding for low MP units, e.g., 3 of 4, 5 of 7, 4 of 9, etc., to make sure that subsequent rounds are timed well, but you aren't behind the eight-ball, so to speak, from the very first tactical round.

I see, that's cool.
