Best CM tank?

Hey guys,

Do you have a "Best of Tank" IN the game?

We all know the Panthers reputation but does it hold up in CM?

Which American/UK/Russian/German/other tank do you like?

Divide it up by year if you have several.

How about the best "looking" tank in your opinion?
Maybe one was a bad tank design but boy it looked cool!

I love the little Hetzer's and Jagpanther's TD look and have been partial to the Allied Honey for a long time.

For Germans:

Surprise surprise, Panthers :D Although I like to use Stugs too.

And for Russians, T34/85's are weapons of choice. :devil:

I would have to go with the panther and the pziv jagdpanzer lang, both are fast and deadly.

Russian armour well it has to be the t34

The allied tank would have to be the Firefly.I know it's armour is crap but at least you can match the Tiger and Panther for fire power,as long as you get the first shot of course :)

Best compromise between mobilty, firepower and protection IMHO... The effectiveness of these tanks also depends of the quality of the crew :rolleyes:

The Tiger has always been my favorite. Give it room to roam and a platoon of Grenadiers for support and it's untouchable.

German's: The Hetzer, small, compact but deadly.
Russian's: Probably the su85 or the su100.
American's: Pershing or Jackson.
British: Ugly as hell, but the Churchill VIII.

The Hetzer doesn't bog? Is that a proven fact in CM?

Now "Shock Trooper's" response was what I was looking for!

I like the SU's but they're ROF is horrendously slow. If you don't connect on the first shot you may be in for some trouble.

Hetzer has extremely low ground pressure at least, bogging is definitely the biggest prob with other german tanks to my mind..
