Stalingrad 2.0

Anybody ever played Stalingrad 2.0? Is it balanced PBEM or not worth the effort? Thanks

Surprise, surprise Popester... I am currently playing 2 games of Stalingrad 2.0 as both germans and russians. My observation is this game is very difficult as the Germans. You have huge advantages in the air and in artillery, but it is extremely difficult to get across the super river right at the outskirts of Stalingrad.

In my game as germans its turn 32 and I'm just getting to the first suburbs of Stalingrad in >one< sector and am still back on the river everywhere else. As the russians, it is turn 13 and no breach of my river positions has been made.

Yes I've noticed even the PO Russians seem to put up a pretty good fight along the River Don.
