View Full Version : noob looking games.
Hi guys
I´m looking for games, i´m fairly new to toaw my whole experience is 2 games i played against my brother (rasmus) which both resulted in od.
Im currently playing barbarossa as russians against him, and i´m doing better, which translates to "i´m still alive in turn 12"
So if anyone wants to earn easy points for the ladder (How do i sign up?)
I´m your man. I´ve mostly defended so far but i guess it hard to win a war without attacking so i´m up for anything.
regards
Well, I still search one of two players for a game, so if it is ok for you.
LaPalice.
sure im up for anything, which scenario should we play?
Why not Tobruk 41 or Middle East 73 ? You can choose the scenario and the side, no problem. And if you have other idea, ok too.
Send me a private email if you want.
LaPalice.
email away....
Transmit my best thoughts to your brother, tell him that I still count on him for the European/ North American tournament
Der Wanderer aka JL BETIN
I Will do that, im sure he will be pleased with your mentioning him as an upcoming player.
But im afraid we will have to pay for it, cause It will only fuel his already considerable ego, making him impossible to be around. :)
Be happy to send a few screen shots your way for
brotherly discussions ie the ego thing :D
:D
Just keep on beating him up, thats all i ask.
I need a new game where i can devastate or be devastated

Becker...
I've got an open playing slot if you still need a game. I like WWII, and the Axis side, but would play Allies if needed.
Perfect, e mail /1st turn etc me canuas@hotmail.com
choose scenario,side,etc etc
I would even play Stalingrad 16-12-1942 or Berlin 1945 ;)
Actually, Rasmus has been pounding me lately  Playtesting
NL2, of course I get the now emasculated Russians. I may have
to figure out some other scenario for ego damage :cheeky:
What's your initial reaction to NL2? Give us some details!

I don't have either of those scenarios and can't find them in WarfareHQ archives. Where did you find either or both of them? Another option would be Braunschweiger, however it is about 60 turns long.
Awaiting turn 2 from Rasmus/Nords. I was going to put comments in
the other NL thread for the continuing saga :violin:
I think he has his hands full trying to figure out how to keep the russians out of warzcaw.
NOT!!
:(
Well here I am sitting and waiting for my next turn from my little brother (and from Foggy), in a foreign land faraway from home. I wait and I wait but no mail arrives. In my loneliness I go to the Forum to see if anyone is interested in a few games. Then what do I find? Not only is my brother engaging in out-of-family-games, he is also dissing me about my personality and gaming skills.
Well I guess I will be saving some money on X-mas presents this year.
More in sorrow than in anger.
Rasmus
Rasmus check din indbakke, jeg får en fejlmeddelese om at mailen ikke er modtaget fordi der ikke er plads i indbakken.
Jeg har sendt en mail, men ved ikke rigtigt om du får den, så jeg skriver lige her også.

NL2 turn 3 just fired back to Rasmus. I'll start a new thread
for comments about halfway thru approx. turn 6. I'll take the
SD for Game 3, I thought it should have been an OD. In
hindsight, I think I'd have been a great WW1 general
Hi Foggy could you resend it I did not get it.
Rasmus
NL2 Russians T3 sent to both email addresses I have for you!
Enjoy
I enjoyed it all right. :devious:
I am afraid the russian Marines did not.
I thought the Swedes were supposed to be generous hosts! The
slaughter of my heavily armed Russian tourists merely looking for
blondes & more vodka might be considered a war crime :p
