help me find 1.04 patch & 19th Century database

I wrote to the webmaster who referred me to the forum. Please forgive me if I am asking something previously done to death.

1. I glimpsed these on the earlier HQ site and downloaded the 1.04 patch. I cannot identify it in the window and since my pc crashed and was slaved/wiped, I am unsure as to whether I still have it or not.

2. I saw the reference to the 19th Century database and ask is this available as a download. I should like to examine some American Civil war campaigns and create a Franco-Prussian War scenario.

3. I have downloaded and unzipped in the scenario folder two members’ senarios: Hungary 45 and Sealion and although they are in place, they are not in the play list when COW is opened.


Can anyone assist?

fineartmike EnglandIf they are in C:\Program Files\TalonSoft\TOAW-CW\Scenarios (it's the default installation directory), they should be in the play list. I've just downloaded them and the archive seems OK.

If they are in C:\Program Files\TalonSoft\TOAW-CW\Scenarios (it's the default installation directory), they should be in the play list. I've just downloaded them and the archive seems OK.

They are in the play list if they are for TOAW-COW. Where have you downloaded them? Maybe you got the scenario version of TOAW1? Hungary45 for COW is available in the download section of SZO (RD/the strategist has only the TOAW I version), Sealion for COW is available at RD/the strategist (http://www.the-strategist.net/RD/scenarii/main_scenario.php).
