Hello Friends,

I feel teribly disapointed as most of you old timers, are not joining the tournament 1st Round

Could you explain me why I have the feeling of a certain disillusion ?

The Weserübung was well tested and I offered you the AAR to be transparent

However I will continue to offer you the best quality possible for this year tournament

Maybe its the upcoming release of TOAWIII that holds back the interest? This is the reason for me at least.

What is important to remember too is the fact we will use a variant of Modern.exe done by JMS Crazzy Dutchman and myself and it will be used as basis for future release of TOAW

and where is the fun to compete ?

Sorry Jean-Luc, but as for me, and I suspect many of the beta testers, as well, we are anticipating that we will be busy with verifying bug reports (real and imagined), testing fixes, working on patches, and pushing the future development of the title along.

In short, we'll be too busy working to commit to the rigors of tournament play.

I have a couple of games of EA that I need to get back to after release, and a game of Tobruk that I promised Brian. Not to mention all the other things that have been put off until "after I get this game released".

I agree that you are realy busy, but all the active ladder members are not testers of TOAW III.
And as you told me the use of modern.exe file instead of the classical opart300.exe will be a good testing platform for the next release of TOAW III+n

Sorry but I feel the blues tonight

Well, on the bright side of things Jean-Luc, you've got 25+ players listed on the tournament rosters, with some top dogs among them. A feat in itself in my books ;)

Yes Marc, maybe I see the bottle half empty rather than half full:nuts:

It is true too that most of folks are waiting for TOAW III but may be I'm wrong, I won't run a tournament on TOAW III before 6 months of testings and return on experience army call it RETEX or OPEX :D

I may have time to look for a BioEd in TOAW and then use one of the tournament scenario in TOAW III modern like, who knows ?

Are you sure, that it's the Cat:laugh:

For a good remedy this have I the following suggestions.

1. Take the Cat to youre work. You have then also success with the ladies. :yummy: :D

2. Take a nightjob.

3. Take revenge. Take a day off, and wake-up the cat every time he goes sleep.

4. Or go to doktor and ask sleepingpils. And these give you the cat.

But to not kill the cat, or I must  and thereafter I am

Tout d'abord, veuillez excuser mon français pauvre. J'aime LeWandereretc... vraiment. Mais peut-être la fatigue de combat...

(Maybe 'pour les anglais ici' in all that read 'combat fatigue'...). Not so much me but a lot of others.

I really appreciate a lot your mail,

there will be 2 other rounds in this tournament, with my 2 other scenarios, maybe more folks will join then?

I hope that next year tournament will be played with TOAW III

Why not 3 rounds too, WWI, WWII a 1945-2010 scenario ?
