France 40

I'm just in the final stages of a France 40 (that shipped with the game) pbem and to be honest I don't feel like playing a mirror of this scen. I downloaded the 2 pbem versions of the campaign from RD and was wanting to hear some feedback from anyone who played either versionm historical or free deployment.

You've already noticed the problems with France '40 on the disc so I won't go into them. Brian Topp's scenario (the one you're refering to) is certainly a major improvement upon it, but suffers from having been built on top of the it (so it says in the briefing). That scenario or "Fall Gelb" would be your best choices if you want to play this particular campaign in TOAW. The latter in particular seems to be fairly rigorous, but is only available for Volume I, and would need tweaking to work properly in COW.
