All of the sudden I don't have background sound on my game. I have sound effects but the music and battlesounds aren't there. I think it's since I installed the no cd patch. Anyone else have this problem?

Me too as well. I was thinking that music is on CD and not on HD maybe I am wrong, before no cd patch game accessed CD very often.

Good thinking, I'll look in the sound folder on my hard drive and get back to you. It's not a big deal but I don't mind hearing the odd shot fired in anger while I contemplate my moves

In the words of Ed Mcmahon "You sir, are correct". I checked the sound files and there's no music etc on them. I'd rather not listen to the buzzing of my cd drive than hear the background noise so I can live without the tunes

I've had the no-CD patch for a while and as long as you move all sound/images etc... to the HD and make sure the registry entries are correct you should have no problems.
