View Full Version : Question about Inventory window...
Guys,
I am looking at the Inventory and Replacements window and I see 5 columns: On Hand, Rate, Turns, Assigned and Lost.
OK, the On Hand and Lost columns are quite obvious: On Hand is what I have as available replacements at the moment and Lost is, well, what I lost so far in the scenario.
But I am a bit more mystified about the Rate, Turns and Assigned columns. Can somebody shed some light on this please?

Rate is the amount of that piece of equipment you recieve each turn
The turn colums are for starting and ending the rate function
And Assigned is a count of the equipment that is on map for your force.

If I enter 10 as the "Rate" is that number treated as an integer or as a percentage? In other words, would the force recieve 10 pieces of equipment every turn as replacements, or does it recieve 10% of of some total every turn?
I ask the question because the Event engine seems to treat the Rate as a percentage.

Integer. It's the physical # of pieces of equipment/squads.

Yes, this does make a difference in the way replacements are allocated. Obviously ties in with the Replacement thread going on at TDG.
Thanks, Regards, RhinoBones

Thanks Tim! :)
Regarding the turns and rate, if I see a rate of 4 and turn of 3+, it means I receive, every 3 turns, 4 more units of replacement?

no. it means you get 4/turn every turn starting with turn 3 (eg every turn except turns 1 and 2)

AH! Ok, that's clear now.
