View Full Version : More mods
After I started the thread on interface mods yesterday I started a lot of exploring the different options that are on the net, till 3 in the morning kind of exploring I just figured I'd share some of the results for any other newbies who haven't tried or are considering interface mods. I used the cow demo as my guinea pig till I got the results I wanted. Heres the Rasca mod from the RD site, I couldn't get his font or bold font to work so I put yukon jacks fonts in as well as Peter Szabos unit icons as the dark blue units would dhow up as blotched. Maybe a windows 200 issue
Here's the Yukon Jack mods in their pure unadulterated format. Gorans mods from the TDG site are next, Lastly are the ones I'm currently running, thanx to Larry Fulkerson for sharing his mod files with me, used the roads, railroads, rivers, ports/airfields, steel cursor from his. Used the brass cursor from the original. I used Peter Szabo's mod units on this one. All of this was on JMass's awesome new interface. The word is that TOAW III will be just as full of mod possibilities and fun for everyone
Hei Okimaw, good to see you managed it finally. The second one (gorans) is quiet ah..ugly.. But the other two look very nice. Good to see them one by another for comparison.

Thanx Telumar, it was actually as fun as playing the game, I didn't much care for the Goran mods either but wasn't going to comment, that is until you gave me the opportunity to concur with your....observation :bite:

Hey, Oki,
Do you have a file list of what you used? Maybe, compile it into a ZIP for general distro?
I like the ones Larry used too - just trying to find the needed files to make it work on my current COW install. Can you point a newbie (actually, a return after an extensive layoff).

Hey Larry, try to submit it to the downloads or just divide them into parts. Just a suggestion.
