For those of you who have access to the secure areas please review the Pro-OP Turn 1 Battle Briefing Threads.

I need to know if these contain enough information (along with the battle area screenshots) to help involved commander's get a basic idea of what they can expect in the battle. Also, does it help you who are not actually fighting those battles get a feel for what is going on?

Basically, is the information in them beneficial?

Good info but maybe you shouldn't have told us exact number of NATO units involved.

Won't work. ABBA does'nt work vs Scandanavians/Finns. I'll have to use the BROTHERS GIBB. I'm not starting a dirty war here.......the Europeans could counter with DAVID HASSELHOFF's greatest hit's:OHNO: and nobody wants that.

I like Abba ... not. I'm more a heavy metal fella ... IS4, KingTiger, you know. Duct-tape I do fear though, it's awful stuff.

Just to try and keep this thread on topic . . . :whist:

I have completed the base battle files (maps cropped out and units deployed). Since both forces are on the move I am the official unit deployer. :-).

As soon as I have commander' confirmed and any arillery air assigned I will add them to the battles and set about notifying the players involved and setting up the Pbem files. I will need to know if you have the CD version or not so I know what slots I am limited to for a particular battle. Commanders who are involved need to post that in the secure forums.

All units will start out of contact and NO artillery can be set to drop PRE-Bombardment. As a matter of fact, no Pre-plots will be allowed in any battle. This means your Observer's should be considered a pirceless commodity.

Another note. Once the battle files go out to the players I will unlock the Briefing Threads. These are to be used for the official AAR's. Players should try to post at least every couple of turns about what went on so the rest of the team (and I) can follow along with the fun. :smoke:
