Tried to get into the TDG Forum page and was given a file named YaBB.pl to download. Anyone know what that’s all about. Even if it is safe, what does one do with a YaBB.pl file?

The front page of the site said that the forums were off line due to a hacker. I would be leery of downloading anything off the site, at the moment. They anticipate having the site back up in a couple of days.

It will be back on line as soon as possible, but the one who knows how, Pelle, is busy having another kid, so there's no estimate as to when it will be ready again. The Yabb file is just text, nothing worrisome.

We seem to be prone to hacking. This isn't the first time it's happened. Typical of that ungrateful Pelle to choose just this moment to give birth!

I don't think there would be any danger in downloading other files from TDG; so far as I'm aware it's only the forum that's affected. In the meantime, we can discuss socialised medicine here instead if you'd like!

I was referring to one of the active discussions last time I visited the board.

Anyway, hopefully the claim on the TDG front page will turn out to be true. Too long without that board and I start getting withdrawal symptoms.
