Don Maddox, you seem to be in every single game discussion at SZ and you seem to know all those games. How do you manage to play all those games? Even if you're a bachelor like me (I have few responsibilities and committments besides work and school) it's hard to find the time.

I have busy days and boring ones like anyone else. Bear in mind I run this site full time (in addition to studying), so it's my "job" to be here.

I thru V, my fav was a Bridge Too Far, hands down, truly revolutionary game at the time and much better graphics than I.

Back in the days of Windows 95 I loved the original Close Combat...does anyone know if it will run under Windows XP? I'd like to try to find a copy if it if so.

I think it is a safe bet, to say "no it doesn't run in XP".

You might be that 1% that found a way, but chances are you with the 99% that says it doesn't.

CC1 to CC5 but the best one is number 2..... A Bridge Too Far... with a fantastic and great online community... that game is still to be matched. Nothin is more funny than a good battle with CC2: A Bridge Too Far!

All of them bar the last.

My favourite was the CC3 - Eastern Front !:)

Hardest to play as the Allies ? CC2 !.
But all of them were great fun to play !

I have all 5 but my favorite by far was CCIII. 3 years of my life was spent on the zone helping to make KG the kings of all things CCIII!
