When you play an email game, do you use the replay button?

I do because its easier to see what units are under fire during the turn. It is much more time consuming to go through every unit and check its status (suppression, etc).

I would be very very surprised if anyone answered no.

There's been a few times when I forgot to check it. I especially like to use the replay to watch my airstrikes.

Sometimes i dont because time doesnt allow for it. Also, i HATE it when the opponent has loads of Arty, and youre forced to sit for half an hour to wait for his artillery strike to finish (even when you have the fast arty option turned ON, and it doesnt register it because he has it off)

Usually, but...

...not if it is a big game, not if I'm losing... and not if my opponent base his game on Z-fire.

Fair call..
I'd add....not if I'm winning :cheeky:

I must add that I HATE fast arty. I wanna know who got hit, and if there's a lot of arty or it's just a really big battle it's always worth sitting thru it.

I like to watch the action...the hits, the misses, the crap shooting and the lucky breaks...There's nothing quite like waiting 15 turns to see a perfectly set ambush work like a charm :smoke:

cheers

I always watch the replay. That said, in my SPWW2 games, (and the old SPMBT DOS) clicking the replay often crashes the game to the desktop, so I don`t use it all the time. Much to my dismay....

Well, I hope you never play me . But I like to sit through it. It's important that you watch where your rockets land, so you can tell by where explosions occur where the enemy forces are (gives a whole new meaning to "recon by fire"). I'll always warn the other player when my artillery strikes, though, so that he dosen't have to sit through the replay if he dosen't want to.

All the time (if I can remember)! You are getting only half the story if you don't. There's a whole bunch of valuable information derived from watching the replay. :)
