This is for BN/TF Commanders right?Primarilly aimed at the Team Commanders' since I believe they both have functioning COCAT's. Individual players are also encouraged to submit their movement orders via forum if they choose to help out/lighten the load of their commanders.

I'll have the US BDE moving tonight and you guys will have your marching orders. Turn 1 will be fairly straightforward. Or should I just do the whole bannana?

Once we have a full turn done it should be easier for the others to follow along and see how it works especially once I post the moves to the forum format here.
If you guys get me the COCAT files, I will convert them to the actual forum movement threads so you guys can QA them before final processing and implementation.

Also, I am working on a new map format so that everyone can see the map, with hexes BUT, I am having problems getting the map files into a smaller file size but where the small white text is still readable.

OK, I'm missing somthing here. How are you going to do that? Seems like a lot of work. Plus you would have to TRUST us not to cheat. right now I'm just dragging Icons to where they go and then writing the orders on the forum. Is there something about COCAT that I don't know about? Besides just about everything:clown:
Also do I need to fill in strengths in cocat units?

Also do I need to fill in strengths in cocat units? You can add waypoints to show movement routes in COCAT. You get there by clicking on the unit icon, then Write Orders and add them from there (Add Waypoints).
Leave the unit strengths out. These will be transferred from the appropriate forum threads.

Yeah, I was just messing around with that. So how do you want me to proceed? I can get the units moving in cocat but the orders are easier in the forum as I can cut and paste the format. Standing by.

Either way is fine, just let me know so I can transpose them to the ooficial threads for QA by you all before they become final.

That's it for tonight. One Brigade. The COCAT is a bit confusing as it plots way points and asks for speeds then plots date/time groups but does'nt move unit icons. How does this work? What settings for speed do I use?

What settings for speed do I use?It doesn't move anything, you are just plotting projected movement paths. Don't worry about adding in speeds, we are using hexes and not actual movement calculations. It is designed to calculate where each unit will be based on your speed and movement method so the GM can determine contact, etc.
We are using probably less than 25% of what this program can actually do. If used to its fullest this is a truly amazing tool, I just use the basics as many complain it is too complicated and thus get turned off on using it. It can manage pretty much everything about the campaign unless you need or use forums.

I have both teams COCAT file and am processing orders. I might need some clarification on some stuff so I may have some questions in the repective secure team areas. :hmmm:
I will transfer final positions to the new OOB threads as time permits. As I do this IF you see anything that looks out of place or it appears that I have mis-interpreted something PLEASE do not hesitate to speak up. :bandit:
