Steepe Tournament Update

Gentlemen:

October 10th has come and gone and I have not received many end game reports. I will therefore extend the first round deadline until October 31st. This will be the final extension. When sending the game results to me please use the following format:

Joe, Axis 55% vs Sam, Allies 45%: Sam, Axis 75% vs Joe, Allies 25%.

I need the % scores to determine the 2nd round pairings.

Rob and I have been bouncing multiple turns every day and are still not done; we've now entered overtime turns.

I didn't realise the deadline was October 10th - completely forgot about it.

I don't see how these games could be expected to finish by this date without going tcp-ip. We've been sending a move pretty much every day and are only a bit over half way through.

Crickey, we'd better get a move on!


How's everybody else doing? Did the other guys play both at once or one at a time?

Only way to do it is at the same time, do both sides and send the turns together. At least that way they'll end relatively at the same time.

My games are over now.
Rob wiped me with a total as Russians and then took a minor as Germans.

Good action all around. We both had the same strategy as Germans, only his worked, mine didn't! :)

Ahhh, I thought with the delay with the game starting would mean an extension with the finish time as well....
Ok, one is finished and the other is in overtime, so you should have my games very shortly.

Well Boff & I have finished the first game with myself as allied defender.
We got through 10 turns of the second game before I went on vacation. Having problems with my isp at the moment, but upgrading to broadband soon and hope to get the second game cleared by the end of the month.

unfortunatley not mine :( as my opponent dissapreard after tunrn 16!... :cry: but I suppose that means I'm thorough :cheeky:

I canna complain to much, as I was a week late from the original end date getting my games done :cheeky:

But it would nice to know whats going on, I dont mind delays, as long as I know things will eventually get going again and an ETA :D
