NO its not here but its coming one day. :)

What would you like to see designers focus on in the way of user created campaigns for this game? Not to be included in any official release BUT for after.

Just to give you an idea, I am considering doing at least 4 and they will be much larger than my normal 5-10 scenario campaigns BUT if no one is interested in those themes I would not pursue those and maybe think of other ideas more in demand by the community at large.

DAM!!!!!!!!!! missed teh multi poll bit else I would have added Mediterranean but more Western Desert or Syria.

Anyway just my small opinion..

A would prefer a blend of historical battles and the possibility to write alternative history...:smoke:

I see the Pacific is currently leading with alternative close behind. Interesting as I am currently researching some data for a possible alternative history campaign in the Pacific.

DD. it's hardly scientific at this point. I voted for PTO and Alternative. In my mind stuff like Sealion falls into the latter.

Three whatifs. Sweden, Spain and Turkey. Two camps per country (one under Axis attack and one under the Allies). So 6 camps. But I'll settle for a good N. Africa scenario

And somebody check the poll utility because as I'm writing this the percent total is about 132%   (not good even for multi polls)

DD. it's hardly scientific at this point. True, but you rarely see interest for PTO in any polls for scenarios and campaigns. Just interesting how it started off so strong.

I am quite surprised about the East Front getting so few votes. Are there too many campaigns about it? Hey, like it or not but in my humble and very biased opinion it was THE decisive theatre of WWII.

I voted for PTO and Alternative. In my mind stuff like Sealion falls into the latter.I think that is where it falls as well. I would throw the Invasion of Malta, Gibraltar, Hawaii and some others into that category as well.

I think a campaign for each front should be included. It seems like whenever 1 of anything is excluded from something, it is always one of my favorite things (I like all the fronts).

I went for the med and alternative. Surprised to see the med with so many. I was expecting the eastern front to appear high up the list.

Sealion, like someone has said would be great to see, and campaigns in Greece, what if invasion of Malta are some I would like to see.

I woted for Med(desert) and East Front, lot of open ground ideal for tank warfare:smoke:

I don' know whether it's just me or not, but I personally prefer really orginal campaign and scenario ideas. How about a one-man-unit OSS campaign? The spec ops raid on Makin Island? Rangers at Point Du Hoc on D-Day? Invasion of America in 1945 by Japan and Germany? Russian 1939 assault on Finland, or battles between Russia and Japan in 1939? Or how about the decisive but vastly underrepresented Russian blitzkreig into Manchuria in 1945?

Artur has a point that there aren't enough East Front battles. The reason is probably because most of the people making these scenarios like to make battles using their own countries, and most of the people here are either Americans or Western Europeans (so there is a bias toward North Africa and Western Europe campaigns). Also, people are probably just tired of the eastern front because soo many other games focus on it soo much.

And, if you want a super-difficulty campaign, do the 1939 battles from the Polish point of view. And if you want an early Allied campaign that isn't that difficult, do one with the French medium tank "cavalry" units. I heard that they did very well in 1940, notwithstanding the performance of the rest of the French army (no offense, they fought bravely but their leadership failed them).

I would like to play eastern front campaign (but please not Stalingrad once again, I'm not urban battle-friendly;) !). Maybe Winter War /Continuation War/Lapland War campaign from Finnish viewpoint?

Manchuria and Finnish (full) camps would be really interesting!

Manchuria and Finnish (full) camps would be really interesting! Are you talking early actions in Manchuria (1939) or later actions in Manchuria (1945)? :whist:

I like the idea of a 1945 Manchuria game because it's such an underepresented yet decisive battle.

Alternative History - Pacific: Operation CORONET or OLYMPIC. Invasion of the Japanese Home Islands!

I went with Med and Alt expecying to see a high score for East Front.
Hmmm...
I agree Artur, the descisive front in many ways.
I should have just clicked them all. Given time I would play any scenario or campaign as long as it was GOOD :smoke:

Glad to see the mighty ANZACs getting a crack this time
Cheers

Seems like Eastern Front and Mediterranean are the main vote getters.

I was watching the Military Channel the other day, the World War I series and had a wild thought. What if WWI had ended in a cease fire and not a surrender by the Austro-Hungarians and Germans. What if they and other nations at that time had retained their colonies into the 1930's as well as some of the alliances.

I didn't realize the Germans had such extensive territory in Africa and the Pacific (including New Guinea and outposts in China).

This alternative history path might make for some interesting User Campaigns! :whist:
