Call me a fool for wading into this, but hey, why not? Everybody else seems to have done so ... ;)
I have two wishes:
1) Purchasers of games to realise that you don't get something for nothing and that you cannot "own" software. It is a rental arrangement.
2) Sellers of games to realise that the client-server subscription model is the only solution. Piracy cannot be prevented so put your IP where the punters can't get at it.
We are on the cusp of ubiquitous broadband. There are no real arguments, just inertia and ignorance. Whoever does this first in wargaming should clean up. So far SES would appear to have a slight lead ...
