View Full Version : Waterloo arrived looking for a game.
Have just had Waterloo arrive, mostly familiar with ACW, and aware there are a few differences with how this plays, but what better way to learn than jumping straight into a PBEM game.
I'm good for min 3 - 4 turns a week, have no preference in side or scenario (though something reasonably balance preferred for 1st game).
C,mon you all know you like to take on the Napoleonic Newbs. (If in doubt check out my ACW record, half of you will be crushed in the rush to take me on).
arckon,
Congrats on your purchase. I am sure you will be pleased with the game. In my opinion Waterloo has one of the highest replay values of all the Napoleonic Games. If you take a look at the WARS page, you will see that there is a Waterloo Tourney going on right now. Sadly I am pretty swamped with work and am unable to take on another opponent at the moment. I will get the word out that you are looking for a game and I am sure one of the fine gentlemen who frequent the boards, will be more than happy to play you.
Ben
Thanks Leftie,
no rush, believe me I have plenty to keep occupied. I posted expecting it to take a small amount of time to get an opponent.

I'm going to try picking this one up when the next PzC game comes out in a couple of weeks -will see if you're free then Paul (I am a Napoleonic-FNG as well.)
Actually probably more rusty than anything - but little experience with the Campaign series.
No probs Trauth116.
This was meant to be in my first order nearly a year ago when I got my first HPS and ACW game. I have added it in to every order since then and at last minute dropped it out. But last order, now that I have all the ACW games I want, 4 of the 6, I finally kept it in.
No takers yet, which I think may be a blessing in disguise, as have just taken on 2 smaller ACW scenarios and with 2 tourneys about to start, am now really a bit maxed out in games.
So will withdraw this request for the time being.
Thanks.

Arckon,
As soon as you are ready for a game, send me a PM or shoot me an email. As soon as the tourney is finished up, I should have a bit more free time.

Good Day Sir,
I am most likely to battle you on the fields of Waterloo. I am a French player regularly but if you wish I shall take the allied side. Which scenario do you want to play? I would also play a campaign game if you like.
send a mail to: raymond@bursch.ch

Thanks Raymond, but genuinely do have too many games going now. 2 ACW Campaigns, 3 ACW scenarios, ACW tourney, PZC tourney, and a tourney about to start on another companies gaming system.
As keen as I am to get a Nap game started I will have to repost for an opponent here in a few weeks time or so.
Again thanks though.
