I am playing a PBEM game of WinSPMT. I am player 1 and I get the first turn. We are also using a custom map. I purchase, he purchases and set ups. I then set up. I click done deploy. OK fine.
I see my arty drop for my pre-game bombardment and don’t see anything from him. I start player turn one.
To my surprise I had 12 to 15 APC destroyed fully loaded with infantry including my AO unit. I asked my opponent what he used and he said nothing.
My question is; why did I have so many units eliminated? Is it a game bug? Is there an explanation?
Thanks in advance.
Im the opponent who he is playing. I didnt place no pre-start bombardment nor any air-strikes, and none of my units could see as far as his map edge (in fact the city terrain breaks up LOS down middle of map). Yet when the time came to take my first turn, there were a lot of burning APC hulks in Jack's deployment zone. Furthermore, NONE of my units were missing any ammo save for an SAM launcher whick fired at two of Jacks helo's. We both dont know what the hell happened. Has anyone ever encountered this in their games?

I haven't seen it but maybe someone else has . . .
Hi,
What is your PBEM security settings,
What is your versions (both of you)
Could you take a screen shot of your destroyed APCs?
Were these in a close formation?
Any sign of artillery holes near them?
Were these near the frontlines?
Could you and your opponent, attach a savegame and your passwords for further investigation?
cheers,
Pyros

PyrosPBEM security settings are normal. I never fooled around with them.
Version 2.5.
I don't have the sofware to take a screen shot.
Yes they were in close formation, but one of my most important units, the AO loaded in a BMP was destroyed as well a considerable distance from the other casualties.
No artillery holes what's so ever.
About 15 to 25 hexes away from the front line.
Thanks for your help.
Hi,
Everyone can take a screenshot, you simply have to do the following things:
Run the game at windowed mode.
Select the image you wish to present.
Press the PrintScreen key in your keyboard
Then open the PAINT program (included in the standards window programs).
From the menu select paste and cut and paste the new selection in a new blank image.
Save the picture from the PAINT in a jpg format.
Now you have a screenshot in jpg format.
Btw, have you tried to check if there is a replay of the previous turn (green box)?
cheers,
Pyros
